Fun of the fair
So we are over in what we call "the Orphans Corner" where all the uncool kids are away from the main show as clearly we do not have enough external varnish to be a cool kid.
But the people who want to see us hunt us out.
Some amazing people have tracked us down including Lindsay Buckmaster who riddled up and quietly said "I lofted that boat"
So amazing chat there given the shape of the boat.
I will post some more later

Couldn't agree more BB! Lydia, it's a shame they cant have all the boats tied up beam on to the dock, I know there isn't enough room but still..

The Defiance restoration was never just about restoring a boat but the long term plan was always for it to be used short handed cruising and fun racing in the Channel
yesterday I delivered from RYCT to Port Huon in a 20 to 25 northerly just by myself
sure I could have got a faster more modern boat but so far it is right tool for the job

great stuff lydia !! Sail on and long live Defiance !!

great to see you using her and thanks so much for the chance to work on such a well constructed and worthwhile boat to bring back to the fleet hopefully good for another 50 years
I hope to get a sail on her sometime with you
