eppo said..Might I try, small relative population centers with large distances between them could also contribute to the cost blow out...and indeed cashed up mining bogans and also minings subsidiary businesses driving demand, I did hear the latest inflation figures are outside the reserve banks limits...maybe a slightly over heated economy? I know we have some of the least affordable housing in the developed world relative to income...and a silly stat, saw on our most trustworthy TV last night a cup of coffee is the third most expensive behind france and singapore...
not sure man, just fishing for the extra cost hey...

Still smells like BS to me - production costs don't alter depending on the destination, and shipping isn't that bad. Excuses to mark way the hell up?
Singapore is a whole other thing - and probably explains the situation: the market will support retarded prices (over-paid ex-pats don't think about paying any price whatsoever for coffee) because that's what people will pay. Vote with your wallet and bring a sense of normalcy back to the table

Another thing that bugs me - RRP. If that
isn't the price you'd sell it for, why is it listed at that price? Why do I have to haggle, like the store's a back-street market in Bali? Yuck.
