Update: had a handful of sessions now on the axis supsurf foil with a 680 wing.
Really starting to enjoy it now. For instance was only 13-15 knots today and had some shifty west in it, but I was always able to have an incredible kite just on a little 7m Bandit.
Honestly I wouldn't have even bothered kiting today on my 10 or even if someone offered me a 14 it was that weak.
But someone said to me if the kite can stay in the air and it has enough power to at least get out the water then you can foil. So I tried it... it's so awesome not needing the kite much!
Went a good couple of km or so upwind on a couple of tacks then just had this wonderful downwind carve...
more and more aggressive s bends carves into continuous ttoeside to heelside carves.... then,
riding straight at kite to Kill all power and then doing the pump thing (man those guys that pump their foils over those distances must be super damn fit!!!).

So much fun bearing straight and fast downwind on your toes, gliding through the mast length (Jesus sounds like porn but have no other way to describe it) with some acute carves up and downwind.
I can see why this foil will be fun in the waves. You can trust it.
This foils seems so stable and predictable.
Every session I am just getting noticeably better (and relaxed hence enjoying it) and I give full credence to the foils design not any great skill on my behalf.
I even nearly swapped feet feet a couple of times up on the foil on both tacjs but not quite there, although I haven't really dedicated a session to that yet. Soon. I have no doubt the foil will let me do it even on the minimal volume board.
I have even done the last three sessions without any footstraps at all. Prefer it I think. Was tricky though with the small kite in less wind today.
Ready for the ocean me thinks.....
