I think you have answered your own question by your own admission. It is just seabreeze, you should lighten up.

It may not be the most professional video, but I love the driver's reaction. It says it all.



I know someone that (a long time ago) was tossing up between a 1973 RS and a galvanised 1977 Carrera. Because of a rust problem he had in a similar vintage he didn't buy the '73 RS for $30,000.

It's really pretty simple Richard. If you just stick to the subject, don't tell porky pies and offer grossly inflated innuendo, you wouldn't have to resort to the gas lighting. If someone has an opinion about Alfas you don't like, try not finding an angle that personally targets that individual. Just say you disagree.

The crankshaft sensor will give this error AND it will be hard to start the car AND the engine will stall, and then be hard to restart again. CAM sensor will ALSO give this dash error. Car will still start (sometimes needing to be cranked longer but will still start) and the engine will run fine BUT you may be in "limp mode" which limits you to 3000rpm. Same dash light and beep, but different error codes when checked with a computer. Replace crankshaft sensor and/or reset using electronic tools. Best to go to Alfa Service centre somewhere.

Sir Logman, just to be clear definitely not a 159, but great cars though. Dash is not correct for a 159, I know since I have one, but the picture it is most definitively a 147 dash, probably a Twin Spark TI but good cars too. I know since I have driven and purchased on behalf of my brother a 147GTA, a different dash again.

The new electrification initiatives for the Alfa powertrains will increase performance in the next year or so.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) plans to invest $10.5 billion (9 billion euros) by 2022 in hybrid and electric technology and phase out diesels for Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Jeep.

Alfa Romeo plans six plug-in hybrid electric vehicles across its range.

"Our plug-ins will offer over 50 kilometers (31 miles) range and achieve a 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) speed in the mid-4-second range," brand manager of FCA Tom Kuniskis said.

The brand will also introduce e-booster technology which it says will make its cars 25 percent more powerful with zero turbo lag.

Alfa is adding the 700-hp 8C supercar to its lineup, along with the 600-hp GTV sports car.

Nice one Cauncy, a beautiful vehicle even in later form with the US market bumpers. The Spider is seriously undervalued on the secondhand market say $20k for a good one.
