That will get a wide response - probably worth a seperate thread. Both have pros and cons. I am riding the Sunova boards and they have an interesting bottom shape but it works so well. Releases easily, planes quickly and isn't sticky when you touch down.

Agree with this, but my almost 60-year-old knees do not like lots of struggle.

Wait till u have 75 yo knees.
Go back to my post for sensibility that works for me.
I have no problems on my efoil in waves or getting up.
