So one explanation for it pumping better is the angles changed. If there was less downforce on the tail then there's less lift, more efficiency, and you'd get the lift back by moving the wings forward.
Does it ride with the mast in the same place - indicating a different angle somewhere - or does it ride with the wing in the same place(mast back) indicating that the angle stayed constant?
I imagine if this design changes was influenced by anything it would be Aguera's own speed run focused winging which would be consistent with both a tail up change in angle, mast back stability, and the racier foil.
Looking at the video I'd say the fuse is still straight as an arrow. That would be way too complicated to change the angles via the tapers.
If you move the fuse forward 50mm on the mast you'll be moving the mast back 50mm on the board.
Too bad, I just bought a 4x used 68mm for my downwind board for next to nothing. Had I known about this (I still would've bought it).
