I've only had one session on it but I really think the range is comparable to the V1 Arts. The 939 sits in-between the 899 and 999 V1 and feels exactly like that. I would have felt much more over-foiled on the V1 999 in these conditions, and the 899 would have likely been a little faster. The 939 improves the low end on the 899 definitely increasing the range. I got the 939 because I was looking to improve the range of the 899 and also feel OK jumping it. I don't jump my V1 999, so I felt that replacing it with a 999 V2 would have been unnecessary given I REALLY love my V1 999 and it does everything I want it to do... except breach tips well.In general, I don't jump foils wider than 900mm, but the 939 is close enough. I'm not the biggest fan of the shape of the V2. I feel they are too pointy. I would have loved to see a shape more akin to the ART Pros, but with more chord... but ignoring the pointy shape, it really is a good foil.
i have been mostly riding HPS 930/1050 and occasionally ART999. I use Ultra Short Black Fuse (not Advanced) /375P stab.
I weigh 75 kg's, proficient at jibing and now tacking from toe side.
Not into jumping / freestyle but riding swell and waves.
I am considering going to ART V2 939 so any perspective on proper fuse and stab choice appreciated.
