Hi, I have the 2023 85L Hover, and have just bought the new (2024) 72L Hover.
I haven't tried it yet, but hopefully in the next few days,___will report back!
The longer water line, and slight increase in width towards the nose, on the new 72L, will make the transition easier, I hope.
Let me know John

Had my first chance today to ride my new (2024) 72L Naish Hover..........This time you can believe the 'Advertising' !!
It was excellent. some specs from today, my weight 73k, Naish Hover 72L, F-One SK8 950 foil, Naish ADX 5m wing.
windspeed today averaging 22knots, gusts to 29knots. water conditions - close chop.
At my weight the board sinks a little, but nothing worrying, best if you have perfected getting the wing over your head as you get on the board, then onto your knees,.......and away! I think the extra water line length created by the non chamfered tail makes a huge difference. As soon as the board gets on plane, it's a rocket. no trouble getting the SK8 950 up to speed.
'Touch downs' were smoother than on the 85L, maybe because the plan shape in the front third of the board has been made slightly wider on the 2024 boards, and also the increased and less rockered waterline length helps the board glide and release better.
The 82L should be perfect for 99.9%.
