HAHAHA I just picked up the 1100 as well. Deadly surf wing for me at 98kg. What stab are you using?

Wingfoiling I agree, You are probably more skilled as I am but in DW supfoil in low energy windbumps (kneehigh) I disagree and need more help from the foil.The E1300 is a foil that I can,t flat water paddle up (with my Sunova 7.6x23) where I can do flatwater paddle ups with bigger foils like the Axis1310/Sab Levethian 1350.More skilled and lighter friends of me had the same problem with the 1300. Once going its great, heaps of glide and low stallspeed, but that doesn't help me if I don't get on the foil

The Enduro 11 takes off before the Silk1050 not much but there ist more lowend on the E 1100. In my opinion is the Silk 1050 closer to the Enduro 900 in takeoff and feel. The good thing is that you cant go wrong ,riding Endruro Vs Silk ,it is always fun

How is the jibing of Enduro. 1100 on Wingfoil compared to Silk? Did you adjust anything on your turning?

Great vid, it seems to have very good glide for its size.
I am thinking of getting an Enduro quiver.

75kg, now winging a Cabrinha Fusion 850 and SUPfoiling a 1095 Kujira.

I was thinking Enduro 700 for Wing and Enduro 900 for ParaWing and SUPfoil.

Enduro 7 is a lot of fun (and I'm still figuring it out) but in my experience so far it needs quite a bit of power to unlock at my 80kg. I know the cab fusion 800 and 850 and they have a bit more low end than the enduro 7. You might be better off with the silk 850 or the enduro 9 for everyday winging reserving the enduro 7 as a stepdown.

Interesting. I could see it working on a neutral volume board, but I find I need to size up the wing a little to get it going on my sinker. When its powered on a wave its excellent, but I need to stay on it and drops out on me when its underpowered.

A bit worried about painting myself into a "high wind only foil" but i do not ride sinkers and i see lots of guys at my level or below riding pretty small foils as daily wingers.
You are happy winging the 700 in 12 to 15kt then?.

Another tempting option is a Silk 850 and a Enduro 900 quiver
Similar size but very different aspect ratio.

12 to 15 is fine with a HA138 tail. Lighter than that the 900 comes out. The 900 is heaps of fun in small bumps.

What you ride is very much skill but also spot related.I can totally see that in Pacific or proper Ocean swell the Silk 850 could be my daily driver.In the way slower Northsea swell at home with 6-8km p/h current in the same direction as the wind I use it only on big days.When its on the Silk turns amazing and has heaps of control but on most days it lacks the glide and drive we need here. That said, Knowing the Kujira 1095 as well the Cabrinha,s, I,m pretty sure that the Silk 1050 could replace both by it self.

The e700 gets up as easily as the s850 has more glide and with a silk tail turns well in small to medium swell which is the majority of what I ride in. S650 comes out on the bigger cleaner days.

The Enduro 11 doesn't take off much faster than the Silk 1050, but the E 1100 has more depth. In my opinion, the Silk 1050 is closer to the Enduro 900 in terms of take off and ride feel. The good thing is that you can't go wrong riding Enduro vs Silk, it's always fun.

How is gybing on Enduro. 1100 on Wingfoil compared to Silk? Have you made any adjustments when tacking?

Gybing is good, it turns well with a 1100 wingspan, quick turns edge to edge are harder, the 20cm extra wingspan is noticeable but rolling does not offer much resistance in and out of a turn.

I (94 kg) felt 1300 is very good for light wind conditions for me at 10 knots and 900 Enduro was significantly faster when the wind picked up. However, I used these wings with the 80 UHM skinny mast (advanced) and both of them had occasional wobbling. Then, I tried SAB foil 83 cm and never felt any wobbling. What was the mast you were using and did you have any wobbling during your wingfoil sessions?

The UHM80, and yes sometimes I feel a bit movement. I,m not sure if this is the mast or the wingtips to be honest, but for sure there are stiffer masts...but those come with an drag penalty. Its always a bit of compromise between stiffness/drag/turnability/cost and finding the personal best suiting balance between them.

winged the 1300 yesterday in light to moderate wind... looked really dead when I launched and then of course the wind picked up. pumps up on foil very easily and then can actually accommodate some wind and speed. 5 x 10sec average just under 18kt. tried to ride some boat wakes, but the boat was going al little too slow and the turning/wingspan was a bit slower than I am accustomed to. Turning in jibes and tacks seemed pretty natural, but on the "waves" I got tripped up a couple times. Fun foil but perhaps a bit overkill for our conditions (disregard the wind speed on the waterspeed graphic).

Anyone try chopping the ha43 stabilizer for speed and maneuverability? I find its a bit draggy atm.

Plenty have done that but no-one that has sung over the moon praises from what I hear. Sell that sucker and get yourself the Ultra Glide 41!

I will disagree. Chopped mine and for large swell it is amazing. There is a thread on progression forum about chops.

Ive also chopped my HA40 and like it a lot. Only thing to watch out for is that the tails (at least the HA40) have a lot of profile to them, so it takes some care to taper the tips out once they are chopped.

Adam Bennetts was riding a chopped Afs ha tail for a while too. He chopped his really small.

Anyone else splurging on a 600 when it comes out? I get the feeling it's coming any day now and I am torn on if I want the friendliness of the 700 size or the likely higher speed and more aggressive surf of the 600.

Anyone still on the HA stabs is missing out! It's the only AFS stab I ride now. I need a Glide forward swept design for the Silk 650 but in a surf size and then I'll be happy forever.

Does the span on the ultraglide still roll well, or is it more of a smooth carvy turn? The reason I chopped my ha stab is because I could it took a lot of roll out of the silk foils. Added efficiency was nice but the turn just wasn't my style. Much prefer it chopped and find it more efficient than the 152 but doesn't sacrifice too much in the turn and has more low end than the 132.

Going into my winter travel season I'm getting kind of tired of traveling with my monoblock silks and wondering if I can get away with a single enduro 900 for travel. I use my silk 850 and 1050 equally (although much prefer the 850) so figure I need to split the difference. Really didnt love the enduro 700 (great when it worked but if it wasn't very powered it wasn't fun). Hoping to find a better balance in a bigger size. Hmmm
