Cheers! I am thinking also to buy either the 114 or the Goya 125, I would prefer the 114 over the Goya to be Honest , but I have a GATOR 7.5 with a Boom of abt 198....

I have a Gator 7.0 and it is a brilliant sail for FSW applications including light wind wave sailing on a 115. The 7.5 has a different layout and looks very much free ride rather than FSW oriented.

So, do anyone have tested the quad yet ? Mostly interested in the 94 / 104 volumes. How do they compare to the last ones 22/23 ?
Do they plane as early (the 94 had an awesome get up & go and overall glide) ? Do they surf as well in imperfect conditions (getting and keeping speed through turns) ? Or are they a step back in those areas with more side shore oriented performances (wich were still awesome IMO) ?

Goya quad 74 2025 or Quatro Cube 74 2025? Which one to choose?

@ $4260 for a new one , need to take out board mortgage! ...think my current Goya's just doubled in value !

At the very far end of one of our islands, in Estonia. With steady and stronger SSW winds we used to get pretty fun conditions there, but this hasn't really happened for a few years already. Not enough steady storms, the wind is always shifting here and there now.

I feel these dudes exhausted all selling shpil permutations in the last 20 years. Now I feel what's coming is microchip tech built into the boards core. It's ton of volume there to embed interesting stuff plus walls that don't reflect any waves/signal... So starting with board trackers, iWatch connectors, gps tech, micro gyroscopes/paper thin solar panels to generate electricity you name it ... Let me make it another thread to throw some silly ideas around..

Come on !! Brawzinho out!! in the opening heats at Pozo!! Wow! This is totally unacceptable but I guess the unbelievable turns believable. Non of the others Goya/Quatro team members is up to the expected too- which is unprecedented. Does this has to do with gear malfunction.... I dont want to be in the Goya/ Quatro headquarters these days..

No, they haven't exhausted anything. If a 81 L production board now suddenly weights less than a 86 L custom ultralight construction board, then there clearly is something there. The total weight itself is just something that's easy to measure, and compare with others. But there's a lot more than just the total weight. For example, if the nose and the tail of the board become lighter, it makes the board more responsive, easier to whip it around. You may not appreciate it of course, if that's your thing. I'd suggest to ride and experience the change yourself.

To give you some specs on the new boards:
the 88 quad is 5,9 kg, the 92 thruster a bit more at 6,1.
nice finish
i like the new fins, which are more like the the old kauli with more rake.
thin rails, domed deck
sailed them both once. Really like them
Both boards wider than previous years, but hold nicely in the turns
easy ride

First ride with the Banzai Surf today. I have used Goya Fringes, from the very first model, and always found the Banzais (except the very first one) to be a bit too powerful for me. Banzai Surf is not. Got to ride sizes 3.4 and 4.0. Such a sweet sail.

Quad 104 has 6,3 kg (spec 6,4 kg). Amazing.
No V in the tail like the predecessor, only double concave.
Unfortuneatly no testride yet.

All KT boards from this year have double concave V going into single concave in the tail .

Finally, no more slot box, starbox, severnebox?, nonsense! Makes these 24/25 boards more appealing already.

New 4.7/5.3 banzai 11 carbon, look sexy, haven't used in anger yet !!

First session yesterday on the 5.3/106 L cube, was tricky conditions 12-15 knots, 4 to 6 ft big shore breaky, messy waves. Still had fun, sail was really nice, super light in the hands and very quiet. More sessions needed to really get a feel for it. Looks amazing, rigs straight forward, well build sail. Stupidly expensive though.

I kinda like my 95L Quatro Cube 2016 with a bit narrower tail than 2025 model. 2016 cubes were super light and looked very happy. Not looking to change to 2025 any time soon (maybe in 2035) but absolutely hate brands changing fin systems every year considering some of us have nice sets of good performers ironed out. I actually rarely buy boards that don't fit my fin sets... silly I guess ..

Another review of Goya Banzai Surf and Quatro Pyramid and the MFC wave harness III. The gear is working good.

Here is a test of the Goya Custom 3 and 4 boards in German Surf-magazin.de Think they have AI translated it, but its ok in english. They sound pretty stoked about the boards!

I am Belgian, sailing on the Southern shores of Holland. Just like you, I have noticed the winds becoming much less steady and predictable over the last years. We definitely get less SW and more/longer periods of totally **** weather for windsurfing. Reason why I took to windfoiling as well.

Thnx Tom. Same, wingfoiling has been a total lifesaver over the last few years, and fortunately it complements windsurfing pretty nicely. Will never completely replace the feeling though.

On the topic of Goya / Quatro 2025... have been super lazy with the videos lately, filmed on one day only.
