Yes certainly, going to be more higher speeds on Wednesday! Emailed Pryde about the new 5.0 and 5.4's. As ideal mast is an RDM. Will be very interesting how different these will feel from past years. Dad is getting a RDM 400cm for his 5.4 but im am going to try my RDM 370cm in mine first. This will be one interesting test as we both ride the same boards/fins and sails. Might also try my SDM 400 and 370 in these new speed sais too.
Hi Izaak,
You would be able to use the RDM 370 mast on the EVO5 5.4. It would make the sail a little softer but at the same time also a little more powerful.

Izaak i would be interested to see how the 5.4 rigs on a sdm, N/P are saying the rdm is recommended, so i take it that the luff has been cut to suit the rdm as well as smaller cams ,
in the past i have found you loose a good bit of bottom end using the recommended settings with a RDM,
also are the cams different , what happens with the standard cams on a rdm the ends of the cams protrude past the mast and can tare the luff, also you can break battens because the cams dont pop off as well ( you need to take the cams off before letting all the down haul off)
in the past N/P have recommended a specific mast, so it looks like there changing there tune a bit , e,g my 5.5 evo111 they recommend either a 370 or a 400 "399 luff", to my way of thinking a sails luff is cut to a specific mast bend, and i cant see how your going to get the same mast curve and flex by using a 370 with a 29cm extension, maybe i should send this off to N/P and get a few answers
