Might head south of the boarder for a visit tomorrow morning. Assuming there are still some gaps in the wall?

It's like going to Mexico Brad, no problems with traveling south, just traveling back north is the worry. By the way the wind came back in once you got safely home, the boys will have a ball at South Esplanade this arvo.

Great day with the friendly crowd at Thompsons, I counted ten sailors on the water, took my brand new second hand sp naish 128 slalom and 7.3 Konsept. Wind was a bit up and down, it didn't really build while we were out there and the tide was going out so I gave it away around 1pm along with most of the others. There were still a couple out there waiting for the wind. Ist day on the sp and couldn't be happier, it jumps on the plane, handles the chop and feels balanced and comfortable. Gybe like a naish, -great. I was on the plane 95% of the time and it planed thru the lulls beautifully. I will have to try it out with a few different fins, just used the std 42 naish today. Looking forward to discovering the sail size range it will take. I can tack it comfortably which is handy when you have to clear weed off the fin. I'm as happy as a dog with two tails- or a pirate with two buccaneers.....

Stunning day to be out. Wind was a bit variable, but was on the plane about 70% of the time. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Hi Pete, lovely day it was too. Always good when the kids get some beach time and I don't get the guilts when I get home. I live at Wynnum so I was staring at the wind blowing trees all arv thinking we might have left a bit early?!

Wind certainly picked up after about 2.30pm. Shame I was so burnt out by then! Got on the plane a few of times, I think. Also managed a few tacks without falling off, and a couple of water starts (but only in shoulder deep water, does that still count?). Bit of a slog through the mud to get back with the tide so far out, but probably worth it. Definitely got the bug, and can't wait to get back out there!

First green arrow on the banana bank indicator at 2.30, 21-24knots for the rest of the afternoon. Speed bank ( no 3 on Windys map was cranking, Sailed on the super sport 118 with the 5.7 blade, going home to Pt Halloran was difficult off the wind. Overpowered, Several 30 knot crashes.

Another good sail today after a slow start in 10 kt wind, then escalated to about 18kts and pretty constant. Sailed with Richard and he saw a Stonefish swimming around his board as he went in which was unusual to see them not on the bottom (was in front of the rigging area). So take care, wear boots!!

Gave it a go anyway, what's the point of being retired if you can't waste time trying to sail when you know you won't get going....a couple of the guys we're going out when I came in so I spent time with Dave, a new Vicci Point Pirate. I checked and he has two buccaneers so he'll do just fine. Dave is at the learning to uphaul stage and progressing well

We must have a had a little bit more wind up our way Pete. Even though I used the WindSUP I reckon I would have got going with the 10m sail on the Magic. It was a lovely buccan day for it anyway.
