I'll be there and will bring beginners gear for anybody that wants a go.

I've got plenty of beginner gear - it's all I sail these days . Small sails for kids also :-)

I will try and get there but won't have much leave left, so probably a weekend or slightly longer.

I plan to get up there in the last week with at least 2 of my kids so would like to take you up on the offer if conditions OK. Will probably stay at boreen pt as the kids (and their dad) likes to have dinner at that great pub.

Plenty of holiday houses in town, but off the top of my head, can't think of one with a fenced area.

I haven't had any experience with renting. I take a van to Elanda pt.

I think Morgan has had some experience with renting?

Van was essential part of windsurfing investment - camp right next to the beach

Dogs not permitted at Elanda pt camping.

My son Max is pumped to continue his early development - wants to race me!

Im hoping this 2 weeks on the lake will be back foot in strap development- done and dusted; then maybe some more work on turning around.(just dreaming)

I'll be there the first week of the holidays as I'm representing the WindWanderers. Will bring the family and my starter gear for the takers. Depending on the conditions I'm happy to organise some beginner and intermediate lessons. Definitely will do some kids clinics in the mornings when the wind is light. Looking to bring a volley ball and net for those wind poor days.

I might come up for a couple of days. Might have to get me a 1 man tent! haha

Elanda dreaming

My mate Andrew (AVB) and family on his annual pilgrimage to Elanda.

Trying to convince Andrew that windsurfing has moved on a little since his BIC Metal rock was the board to own

Sent a board and sails up with him plus some some kids gear

Idyllic time paddling today,hoping the wind gods deliver over the next few days.







Anything to get my mate AVB back into the sport
