just checked my messages, i sold my 04 freesex for $400, and that was with a $150 MFC freestyle fin and almost new dakine straps. Even if the board is brand spanking new, its still not worth much more then $500, its a 6 year old board, that was probably only worth $2100 brand new. I'd say the website is pretty out of date, go check it out with cash in hand, if he wants more then $500 he's dreaming.
and yeah, 5.3 (25% of the time) and 5.9 (70% of the time) is all i use, plus a 4.5 for those 2-3 nukin days a year.
i'd say you sold your 2nd hand board for about the right price. it's a buyers market when it comes to 2nd hand.
but new is a different story, have a look around the other shops in qld and or australia and you'll see that $890 is a good price for a brand new board. especially one that is 99lt, freestyle and has $890 o.n.o written beside it.

i agree, money talks!
if it's 2nd hand then yes, it's over priced but it has new listed on the website.
