It would be cheaper to buy inter-state
Peter Nitsche; 2004 Starboard Freesex $890
Windsurfing Perth; 2008 Starboard Flare $825

just checked my messages, i sold my 04 freesex for $400, and that was with a $150 MFC freestyle fin and almost new dakine straps. Even if the board is brand spanking new, its still not worth much more then $500, its a 6 year old board, that was probably only worth $2100 brand new. I'd say the website is pretty out of date, go check it out with cash in hand, if he wants more then $500 he's dreaming.

and yeah, 5.3 (25% of the time) and 5.9 (70% of the time) is all i use, plus a 4.5 for those 2-3 nukin days a year.

The wind... knows. My excitement about seeing Avatar 3D in a couple of hours has been greatly dissolved pissed on by the building sea breeze out my window.

i'd say you sold your 2nd hand board for about the right price. it's a buyers market when it comes to 2nd hand.

but new is a different story, have a look around the other shops in qld and or australia and you'll see that $890 is a good price for a brand new board. especially one that is 99lt, freestyle and has $890 o.n.o written beside it. i agree, money talks!

if it's 2nd hand then yes, it's over priced but it has new listed on the website.

it's done this every day this week. looks to be building then just stalls and doesn't crack more than about 12 knots on the water.

yes, it's all a bit wierd.

the model that seabreeze uses had a low forming in the coral sea and whipping up some SE winds.

that was today replaced by a low down south which would give us N-NW winds.

current model has a very interesting low forming north east of fraser island on sunday, intensifying monday and then moving away towards the SE and dissapearing. i'm guessing seabreeze will soon show this in the graphs.

a lot of models are going for a low in the coral sea so time will tell. seabreeze models are usually very good at picking up the lows. problem is there is so much upper trough action at the moment everything is changing daily. i just wish they would bugger off so we can get some decent lows spinning up in the coral sea.

edit.....

guru is still going for Northerly winds but either way it looks like good wind here form sunday...... maybe.

BOM is sitting on the fence saying SE then switching to N

Glad I'm not the only one as confused as crap about the changeing forecast. I'm trying to organise a garage sale for the weekend, without blocking off potential sailing time.
Monday morning, I'm loading everything I own in my van and heading off to Currumbin to see what happens. Hopefully, there will be something.

Yeah i saw you write that.
but my car rego is due, so my budget for a board has dropped dramatically.
If i can find a job, i'll consider it.
I'll have a chat with justin about his nxs voodoo on the weekend.
