Heat 1 - 2019/2020 NSW Summer Raceboard Series Last weekend saw the 2019/2020 NSW Summer Raceboard Series kick off at our very own home club (Saratoga Sailing Club) and what a weekend it was, beautiful weather and a wide range of breezes to suit just about everybody.
We were also joined by the Windsurfer Class which always makes for a great weekend of fun and rivalry.
Congratulations to Cam Harrison who was unbeatable with 8 wins from 8 races, he's clearly the man to beat this season. Congratulations to Richie Reynolds who took out a close faught 2nd place over James Grunfelder. Well sailed James.

Windsurfing for Research - (MITO) Lyndon (Heavy1) has completed his Whitsunday Island Hop adventure and he gave a talk about this at Saratoga Sailing Club last Saturday night. I was very surprised at some of the challenges he faced that had never crossed my mind, like being attacked by crows, shark and Kangaroo sightings etc.
To read his blog please visit the following link which also includes a brief introduction to Mitochondria disease.
