What time do the ferries run ?

From Cairns 8.30am & 10 or 10.30am not sure as I'm always on the early boat.
From GI 2.30pm & 4.30pm

Very tempting....
Where do I find you guys ? Probably a stupid question, as GI is small I know, buy hey....

Just got back to my dingy hospital flat after a magic on GI.
Met a lovely bunch of blokes and girls who were very welcoming and friendly.
Cam graciously loaned me his very nice rig for a couple of laps of the speed course, which is really quite divine.
I had a great day, and I'm really glad I made the effort to get over there.

Yes, there's a salon and masseuse on the beach. I decided against a perm though.

Home from GISW had a fantastic time sailed 5 days straight on 7m, 6.4m and 5.7m and various boards, what a beautiful place to windsurf!
A big thank you to Cam and Catherine for organising everything (Great Job again this year) and the amazing generosity and welcoming friendliness of the FNQ mob, also(Gaz, Cam, Phil) with helping me out with gear when I was waiting for mine to arrive and Kel and Belinda for your hospitality.
Was nice to meet up with old friends and meet some new ones, highly recommend it, great winter windsurfing escape from the cold

Thanks for pics Al and Gaz, brings back memories. Look forward to seeing more. Did Firie get any GoPro footage? That would be good.

Will definately be back next year.

Firie,
Yes it's a shame as mast top mount at Arlington would have given everyone a great perspective and maybe you could have even dropped the mast tip in the water to show Choco the difference between rocks and a sh1t load of coral

Great to catch up and it was a shame you didn't stick around for Sunday afternoon.

PS - I have severe GI withdrawal symptoms atm.

PPS - I'm willing to pay someone to take that stupid photo of me off the forum.
