Comments: Lumpiest session we've experienced on Hardies run, didn't help that the wind had a bit more westerly in than what we normally have. Great having PD and TS down, big thanks to PD for not kicking my bum to firmly.
Well happy considering how lumpy the course was I still managed to kill quite a few PB's.

Yeah Nebs, I have a set of these on my race boom for light wind sailing, only thing I don't like about these is that they twist up a little bit, unless I am using them wrong, was going to check out what is in the shops

The visual speed's are good but use too soft hose, i've been through 3 pairs in a year. The alternatives cost from $35 (pryde, don't look so good) to $50 North & Prolimit which will not twist at all and use metal cam buckles.

comments: chased my tail a bit today. went to sunsets to find no wind and a long walk to the water. could see the guys over at stairways blasting along so figured there was some wind around. checked out choppers reef and decided not to take the risk at low tide. hopped back in the car and headed off to platforms.

tried my 65cm C3 for the first time. not really enough wind for it. should have taken the nxs 70cm out.

had a good time anyway. blasting from platforms out to the strip and reaching along the bank over to coochi. A 3km run each way. only me, a kitesurfer and a catamaran. was good fun! nothing like having it all to yourself.

Comments: After a lot of expectation on today and we got massively dudded, managed to get a bit of wind come in so Bender and Hardie nipped out and looked like they were going alright, MR Slowpoke eventually got out and got one run underpowered and all over the show, went out on the next run on way back wind dropped out totally and had to flap the sail to move.

Comments: Snuck a quick half hour sail in during worktime. Missed the low tide speed run by a couple of hours so had to contend with a bit of chop. Was very on/off kind of wind. I'm beginning to think this board won't go much faster than I have sailed it unless I get more up to date sails but I guess anytime you get a 30 run is a good run.
Was still nice to go that fast in that little wind. I'm sailing off the wind a lot more than I used to and conciously not oversheeting which used to result in the board stalling.

Not bad at all for that little wind.

Looks nice for the runway middayish Sunday. Could look at it like a bit of a team warm up session.

Talking about Foreshore drive. Great spot in SW or NW.

Looks like the forecast is now a little dicey so might wait until Saturday to know for sure.

As far as Jervis goes Crash, there isn't too much flat water down there at all. Chop is normally big enough that you can get some good fast runs between them. Best bet would be to go to St Georges Basin as winds with west in them are pretty much offshore at Jervis.

Comments: Conditions found me out today, didn't have the balls that Elmo did. That guy, gets white line fever, and has little fear. In the gusts, my 4 cam 5.4 was buckling and shuddering, way over powered, I just didn't have the guts to go with the gusts. The chop was pretty brutal, some relatively flat stretches where you could go fast but quickly coming into shallows. fastest I've ever sailed in that size chop, thought I did a high 30's run and was disappointed to see 33.23 on dial, when shoulda been happy for just surviving without crashing. Another learning experience. In these conditions your psychological mindset is critical, mine was too timid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No unfortunately, didn't hold, had to swap boards, doing about 30 knots when my front foot is dangling in the air, and I'm beginning to lose balance.......... Thoughts: "That's strange, why am I feeling unbalnced... Oh that's funny my front foot is dangling in the air....... DOH!!!!!! The footstrap!!!!!!"
