Both my Severne enigma and alloy booms fill up. What's strange is how you have to get the water out. It's the front end that fill ups, if you pull the bottom end off and stand the boom front end up no water comes out, if you then rotate the boom clockwise One full revolution no water comes out, if you rotate it anti clockwise One full revolution the water pools out. Wait until it stops then repeat, turn clockwise nothing turn anti clockwise a load more comes out.

Hmm I have an enigma as well, used it a lot and haven't noticed any water stuck in it, I'll have to check that out. Update on the other boom, I just watched the promotional video and realised the holes in tail piece are meant to face down, the boom head is modular and can be removed and turned the other way without tools which means the boom grip is upside down cause the logo is upside down and the joint is on top, oh boy Anyway that's only cosmetic do you think it would hurt to drill 2 drain holes in the tail piece it can't be good sailing with a boom full of water, especially down the back, extra swing weight in jibes can't be good it's a big boom could probably hold a lot of water, I think it made the sail feel heavy and sluggish today

Can't see why a neatly drilled hole right in the end would be a bad thing but still if it was my boom I probably wouldn't just for piece. of mind.how about getting some foam and just stuffing that down the tube so there's no room for water, would try that first

When you're looking for new or used sails on sale at your shop online and the size listed is wrong.

On all the 2018 Slingshot Windfoil boards. I think the 2019 ones had plastic vent screws too. Not sure if the 2020 or 2021 SS boards do as well. I was surprised when I purchased my 2018 SS Dialer 130L board, to see a plastic vent screw as well as plastic threads to thread the screw in too. Those boards are solid except for the plastic vent screw. Those boards are extremely popular in the USA as well.
