mark has an avatar with a guy sticking their finger first through their nose and then eye, is that code for something in Australia? I always wondered whether that avatar had a hidden meaning or not. And if the finger was stuck first through the eye AND then nose would that mean something a little different, or if there were TWO fingers, one stuck through the eye and the other through the nose? I have never been to Australia, so not familiar with you know local "codes".

Got up this morning, first night in two weeks my lower back did not hurt when sleeping and rolling from left side to right side, outer hips were a little sore when I got up, probably from all the stretching yesterday, but now feel fine, and lower back feels good, so does shoulder after using the hanging stretch someone recommended earlier. Thought I was going to have to go see a sports physician for my shoulder, but not any more. And that one tight muscle was causing the problem with my lower back. Preventive stretching is the key!

Back to windfoiling!

Serious question, when you block someone is it just the comment missing or the whole little box with username as well? And... What if a non blocked person quotes a blocked person, do you see the blocked person's comment in the quote?
But wait...I've got one more How can you follow the thread properly if stuff is missing? It would be very confusing.

Your reading too much into it ....... when he was young he slipped on a banana peel . I believe he also hurt his lower back and after months of relentless ranting to his classmates about it , they finally beat him up .

So went to my first yoga class since covid, it really trains you to use your core, including abs. That was my other problem, when I bent knees to do something with gear on the ground I would relax my abs and that strained my lower back, not sure why I stopped using my abs, but retraining myself to use them.

Surely he's feeling lonely now

So after my first yoga class in 3 years I am sore the next day, but sore in my hips, lower back is pretty good. Thinking foiling, pumping the sail to get up, and practicing foiling gybes, puts a lot of strain on the lower back and hips, which I have not stretched for years. So back to doing yoga/stretching regularly, probably even right before rigging, just to make sure I am not tight.

I think its funny when some back yard self proclaimed legends call themselves, "experts" lol.

Seems some are scared of slightly different point of views and condemn different thinking, a bit sad for forums to be closed minded and show primary school bully mob mentality.

Not a good look for younger "maybe" learners/posters, that are put off by this.

If it wasnt for the people with different ideas, "thinking outside the box" ,
most threads would last with only 3 posts with the couple of "experts" singing Koombyaaarrrrrr together,

Hips and lower back getting tight is a problem for anyone foiling, but guessing it is more of an issue as you get older, that seems to be the case for me. Still not sure what caused me to stop using my abs and so strain my lower back muscles, I see overweight guys with these large stomachs sticking out all the time, maybe I was subconsciously copying them?

But makes me wonder how those guys manage without lower back problems, certainly not using their abs much or at all.
