^^^ seriously? Google your own posts.
I have seen you use the term homo to degrade other sports or people.
That is the sort of trash tak w^nk I am referring to. You know it.
I'm out.

Mark has come out.

I was actually trying to have a serious conversation with you pointing out that all of us (well most) are guilty of breaking the rules, wheather we admit it or not.

I heard a rumour that the changes to the thumb system will involve 50 Shades of Red.

Head on over to deeperblue.com forums and have a look at how they do business.

You can vote on a persons individual post much the same as in the thumb system here, but you can only give positive votes called "Rep". If you decide to give someone "Rep" you can add a comment why, and the receiver can log on to their profile and view every Rep point they have received and the reason why.

Next to a persons avatar underneath their post counts, there is a count of their Rep power for everyone to see. So while you can't give someone negative rep, you can normally tell who is a valued contributor by the Post number / Rep power ratio.

I started posting and reading the seabreeze forums quite a few years ago . I dont spend much time here anymore ,for my own reasons but I have seen how this place has changed with my own eyes .

Some great feedback has been written, and there is the ego bs ,, again

@mark , I agree some heavier moderation is needed (at times). The real underlying issue I think here is a concern of how are we going to sustain a quality forum , over time and into the future?
I also like the idea of seeing who thumbs who , name and shame works well . On the other hand it can also give positive feedback on a personal level!

Seabreeze is a fantastic site , however its like most places and issues within Australia - Expansion must be managed , and structure put in place to sustain the growth , otherwise we end up with a mess that nobody wants to deal with and things turn pear shaped.

Shoot first , ask questions later Laurie . Keep the fools out , bring back the fun!

Interesting Kearnsy. See, I remember your username and in retrospect I now realise it has not been around much lately.

You are the 3rd or 4th nice bloke I can recall in the last couple of years that has been put off by the juvenile, trolling c0ckheads and all the sh!t they try to stir up. In fact, some people quit altogether. I recall a few who just went by the wayside and that is very sad.

Welcome back and I agree - shoot first ask questions later. Bring the biff, fk off the trolls and d!ckheads.

For those few that are out of control with the reds, I would imagine there would be a means of tracking and blocking the users IP address. That way they wouldnt just be able to resume with a different user name.

Not many people have static IP addresses.

I do.

I touched it after walking across the room in my synthetic slippers, and got quite a shock.

perhaps we should JB as I think you'll find a Mactavish started the shortboard revolution, not 100% on whether it is the "prez" but surely a relative. I'm sure his disciples can confirm or deny
