hardly a crossword, those boys from WA will work it out eventually..although the locals were pretty fierce with the permits last time i was there even though i was staying at maccas..interesting to see how the 2 mooring system works out this year... at one stage there were 10 ,yes 10 ,boats in the bay at maccas when i was there...bedlam!!

ps like your website/philosphy "old fella".......not quite the same vintage but i can remember when the old black rubber surfaid legropes were cutting edge(very young though).....only a couple of hours down the road hopefully might bump into you one day

The peak before it was even named. 2 years later we saw some pics in waves mag and it was all over

I have just gone back and named the spots that are well known now, but havent outed all of them that arent well known, for fear of being killed.

Naa mate , I totally understand and respect that!
I have hade many a great surf at Lennox , also around the corner @ boulders too!
Hey ever surf the south wall @ Ballina? I spent a ship load of time lurking around there in my late teens

being hunted for naming a surf spot would be the least of your problems

Photo was only taken on phone camera.

We were suppose to be heading straight to Gero that day from that other spot near here.

We only called in for a look.....but....you got to do, what you got to do....don't you!!!!

straight from the garage archives circa 1990-91

you know its breaking properly when you current pushes you further into takeoff area towards the temple due to the current in the strait...i will concede defeat arkgee once you start showing the shots of you and alby mangels dressed in your sarongs!! cheers
