Just curious, no localism or self regulation from surfers of that area? I've talked to mates whom have surfed places far and wide where paddling into the line up, they were introduced and had to wait their turn. Wonder what the locals would of done if they dropped in or put a hand out of line.
Maybe it's time all the experienced surfers put a stop to things. I mean a friendly word is all it takes and sometimes people don't realise the are sitting in the wrong place etc. Everyone shares the ocean so surely everyone can work it all out. If not I'm sure a 14ft 666 that plows through the line up leaving mates to take the next set of waves could work too. Take turns each time wreaking havoc
