Love watching few of these events. Love the Giant Slalom, half pipe, boarder cross and can not wait to see the new slope style. Should be a ripper of an event. You Aussies have some serious talent this time around. This bloke should be good

And who can ever forget

Yeah I like it, sports I don't usually watch and most have a bit of danger going on so always exciting.

Anyone see the snowboarding last night? They were some serious jumps..

Sadly not LL. We haven't had a Winter Olympic medal since 1992, and we've never had one in the freestyle disciplines and they were our best chance from all reports. We had four girls into the semis of the this event but none made it through sadly

If Torah can stick a good run she will medal as none of the others have managed to do that yet. She needs to push it though if she expects one with a gold colour

Sadly it does LL!

Torah was never going to win with that run even if she did nail it I reckon. Oh well she has 2 more chances to medal

Ted, love watching this stuff, but I wish the media would shut the feck up about who is going to get a medal..... they put so much out there for these younguns to build up the pressure and when it all goes average, like Torah did last night, they just leave off and go to the next event. When in fact our Torah is really an amazing competitor that absolutely loves her sport and is proud to represent our country, doing her very best at what she does. When she doesn't get a medal the media just go... "Oh well, NEXT!" Then ask her what went wrong? Nothing went wrong, the other girls were just great on the day.....

That Czech girl was amazing, but I think she was knocked unconscious, hence her rag doll form as she slid down the hill, which probably saved a few broken limbs.

Here's hoping they all have a great time and enjoy the friendship and fun at the games, if we get some medals, then that's fantastic.

For me, I turn the sound down so I don't have to listen to the inane drivel that comes out of these commentator's mouths.

Men's downhill was amazing, 137kmh on two bits of carbon......
Men's 30km cross country..... average of 24km per hour, with up hills as well! Heart rate at over 160 all the way for over an hour. That's something.

Mmmmmm might have to have a winter holiday this year......

I watched some earlier tonight before getting stuck into schoolwork, was fantastic!

Watched the luge, the downhill skiing, the 1500m Short track skating, curling and one or two others. The luge and skating were definitely my favourite, particularly skating, so good!

Ahhh not enough speed into that last jump - course looks very tough out there tonight in the Slope Style. Lets see if a few others can fail and she gets the bronze
