A very respected shaper once told me that the fins were approximately 30% of the boards performance.

A world champ surfer once told me that they take the exact same set of fins from one board to the next as they knew how much they affected things and at least they could control one factor doing it that way.

Fins fins fins. I am not getting involved again here....

How does FCS make their fins CMC?

I see just the basics, how do they get every fin the same set after set. I bet the cost price of FCS and Futures is much lower that anybody would expect.

I can buy a set of PC Al Merrick [M] fins for $90 in the shops $120 and my bloke still makes money selling them to me. His cost price must be between $60-$80.
How much are these off the net?

You can probably guess which fin comes from which process.
