I used my steamer today but if I had my springy that would have been well warm enough - most were in a springy whilst Sharpie was in boardies. Water is still very warm over here Kagey compared to the land of the long white cloud.

Was discussing this with Bulldog and BB a few days back came to the conclusion that at the moment the water temp over in WA is around 22 degrees , water temp in northern NSW / Gold Coast around 21 - 22 , water temp Tasmanian waters around 12 degrees

How's the water temp over in NZ Kagey I assume it is around the same as Tassie .

Not so bad with the right gear Chrispy .

Bill has been out this week in just boardies , better man then me . I reckon where he is is probably 2 degress colder in the water to where I am .

With the rashies I have 1 long sleeved fleece lined , find the long sleeves can get a bit waterlogged making padding a bit harder , personally prefer the shortsleaves

Well Tassie its a touch warmer up here in Auckland as I just checked the charts and they said water temp 17.8 degrees. But I guess it felt colder initially as land temp is cooler at the start of the day I believe? which is why I thought of putting my booties on in the car park. Or there is the possibility i'm a soft c*ck

From what he was saying his cods were like steel after his surf .
But no other way round Bulldog I think it is 14 here 12 down south .

Kagey I chuck the booties on in the park as well cold sand is not nice 1 st up in the morning .
Anyway off to take the stepson from Brissie for a surf , I reckon he will last about 5 minutes , that's if he gets in

I've got a thermal rashie. The fleecy style that was made by West. The shop at Lano is the only place i seen them and i have them for me and all the kids. Great to knock of the wind chill. I hate wearing a wettie if i don't have to and yes I'm soft
