I hear ya Nozza - made some big changes 6 yrs ago now and never looked back Its nice to get that work life balance equation back in your favour. I work from home on average 2 to 3 days a week. So the long commute the other 2 is not normally an issue. Some weeks though - like last week - I had to go down to the big smoke 4 times. I just hate it when I have meetings that finish in Sydney around 4 to 5pm. Doesn't happen often but when it does ahhhhh - plans on the horizon to take the working from home concept to another level - stay tuned Re the train - the work has to be done so I might as well make use of the time on the train - means I have more time for surfing !

As for the 666 - had one of those in the garage for abt 5 yrs now - I hardly ever ride them anymore - no need where we live. The chick uses it a few times a week though. I just find them so limiting / frustrating in the surf compared to any of the other toys I have in the garage. Have a new nose riding LB on the go at the moment - that should cover me for those days that I do not head out now.

I aspire to find anything limiting in the surf!

It must be a good evening if you are able to ponder.
Or is a ponderer someone who goes surfing in a pond?

1982 Stubbies Surf Classic Burleigh

The 82 Stubbies was the pinicle of inovation period surfing and surfboard design. The heats included Mark Richards on his own hand shaped twin fin design, Cheyne Horan (winning) on a Geoff McCoy Laser Zap design with Ben Lexan designed winged Star fin, Rabbit Barthlemow on a channel bottom rounded pin tail Hot Stuff, Dane Kealoa on a T&C twin fin and Simon Anderson on his new 3 fin thruster design. Never before or since has there been such a variety of cutting edge surfboard design in one place.
