Hey Ted,

I don't think this one is over. If Australia can somehow find there way to posting a score of 150 for England to chase, they have the attack to take 10 wickets.

Now if England win, then I think the Ashes could be on the way back to England as there has to be one test that is a draw due to inclement weather conditions, and that is likely to be Trent Bridge as "its grim up North", and I can't see England losing at the Oval. 3-1...... and I would never have predicted that at the beginning of the series.

Then again what do I know?

Simple fact Ted you have no argument.
Another simple fact is MJ just went into the top 3 bat
/bowlers in Aussie history.

todays paper state the great DK Lillee called him "a once-in-a-generation bowler.

I do not deny that he is a good bowler. All I am saying is that if he was more consistent he would be a great bowler. Simple. Sugar coat it how you like but can you seriously tell me that you did not wish he could fire more often? When he is on form batsman struggle to play him - as the stats indicate. But those stats should be a whole lot better imo. As Tux said he sent down two amazing balls. Its a shame he does not do not that more often with the skills he has.

i must of watched a different game.

because the way i see it the batsman let us down.

clark is 170runs in the last 6 tests 13 runs for this test

forget saying the boys bowled rubbish smith & clark need to step up.

Nothing to do with what we are saying - stay on point

If you want to get into the nitty gritty of this test - yes batsman let you down and the other bowlers - especially Stark were poor last night when MJ was on fire. But my point is this - he only bowls well sometimes and when he does its normally for only 4 or 5 overs. If he could put it together regularly he would be amazing. But he is not. Just a great bowler every now and again.

Having said that he is more consistent than Mitchell Pearce - who must have photos of someone
