Mac i'm no Indian and imo you need to clear your head out as what indian said is very very mild i suggest you clean the cobwebs out of youre wallet and shout me and you an outing at the brothel around the corner from youre shop and we'll have a real talk to the girls and hear what comes out of their mouth.You never no what could happen.

HAve they got the heated vests there Riverider , after yesterday I think I will have to invest in one. Been here 2 years 1 st time the cold has really got to me . Strange thing was in the water I felt pretty good only when I struck land the hypothermia kicked in .

i think they do have them, but i don't know anyone that is worn one, what i go for is a titanium vest with hood attached a 4/3 steamer and a vest over the top if its really cold and windy, once you get out of the water the wind chill gets you.

It would be colder where you blokes are compared to me in the northwest .I have a hood but hate wearing it so only wear it on the coldest windy days . thanks again mate if I do get a heated vest will let you know how it goes .

Def in the market for a new vest Bill not sure about the hood . thinking I might get a heated vest .

Just saw the weather report you blokes on the south and east coast have a 6 meter swell coming your way tomorrow , have fun .

Your right about the booties had to pay about 80 bucks for the kids booties .they have you by the short and cur lies you can't do without them .

Interestingly womens booties $59 mens $80 - theres not much difference in the amount of neoprene in them either.
Do you have a brand of heated vest in mind ? Will make some calls during the week for you.

Im thinking bout wearing my reef booties over my winter booties on the really cold days..

Saw a nice pair of sheepskin lined gumboots today which may also be good for sup on the flatter days (I suppose It'd be more acceptable in circular head)

Hey Bill , riverider , was that you blokes on the ABC weather report last night . Looked to be about 50 out with 1 lone supp , on one of the southern beaches . Looked a bit windblown

wasn't me, tucked up i a nice warm office, when it is really good at 7 mile you can get over 100 out, 6 use to be a crowd when i was a young bloke, bloody surf reports on the internet stuffed it.

was that 7 mile on the news ? it has been relatively crowded here last few days as well , school holidays I guess . surfed with about 5 on sunday , 2 monday , about 10 yesterday . when normally it is just me . hate competing for waves esp with some of the little wave hogs

the kids have some respect down down here and wait till you let them have one, it's the sup riders that move here from the big island that are a problem, no maners, billboard seems ok though, waited out to the side when i had a surf with him the other day, time will tell !

Hehehe thats funny r/rider - even spencer commented on sunday about me being overly polite out there.. Dont worry mate I pretty much always do my own thing and give pronies a wide berth. I know you guys were in the prime takeoff area on sunday biut I was happy getting a few out wide and staying clear of the pack - was good to finally meet you guys - from what I saw the sup surfing standard here is very high so looking forward to sharing a few waves and learning a bit from you guys in the future.

Bill just read your post re -heated vest , thanks for the offer will try and do some research on brands and get back to you .

The SUPs dont really exist up here bit backward in the northwest . There is only one regular SUP surfer and he is a top fella .
You are right RR the little wavehogs here are teenage migrants from the north .Not that I am a local which I have been reminded of numerous times .

TD - I never get sick of the strange looks Im getting paddling the sup around especially this morning when I came in near Dodges through the snow covered sand wearing booties, boardies, tee and beanie - these fisherman just stood there mouth open and didnt say a word !!!!I just geve em a huge "morning" and they just shake their head - hahaha too funny.
