Na sold it, bit to hifi for my lofi surfing

Used nearly every fin set in my collection but I just couldnt settle it down.

Looking for 6,5 or 6,6 atm. I might get another LSD or go local.

It was a nice board tho, couldnt really fault it if I was a better surfer.

How the bullet going mate?

its perfect, makes me a better surfer than what i am. super happy with it. just need it to get over 1 ft again. re the volume, he has hidden it well and makes it so easy to paddle and still pretty easy to duckdive...its a very reactive board. now there is a board for ya doggie

Yes they get good reviews, I have thought about them. One of the shops over here do them off the rack. I was looking at a DHD Monster quad/5 fin as well. Had a bit of volume in it as well.

My mate just bought a Al Merrick Semi Pro round tail 5 fin in a 6,6 same concept as your board just a bit bigger. It had too much volume for me but its hell easy to catch waves on, I find it hard to dig the rail when turning with big rail like that one has.

Ask yr shaper nicely to take a bit off the shoulder....for bigger blokes like me I prefer a more fuller rail as I bog the thin ones - catch them - very annoying - plus with a bit more weight yo find it pretty easy to dig them in

Agree on that there Teddy, the faster you are going the less rail volume you need.
Ive ridden a few of my mates boards that are too small for me and you need to be going at warp factor nine to do a cuttie without sinking.

Could be too big and unsettled for where we were... will call it Friday once I see the cams... I reckon some of the lesser northern reefies may be OK, as the tide looks a bit full again. Up where sharks bite surfski's may be OK...
