^^^^^ I'm getting my topics mixed up. Was that comment ment for PNG Tankchamp?
Mate what tankman is saying is the UFO has a good rocker and in his opinion you need to fit a slightly longer rear fin,I've only used 7 inch rears in my 903 ufo's and they work a treat
Now on fin size the McT 7 inch Wizz fins are 7 1/2 because Wizz is too lazy the add the 1/2 when he writes on the fin base.
Its the rail shape pup and not the looks but I'm going for this one.
ah well wrap her up then - hope Bob is forgiving and you get a fair change-over , thats probably minor in the scheme of things , ya gotta be happy out there hey farken hell mac
No point giving it another go pup and the boys did look after me tho,oh yes the new one has been ordered and fast tracked in the production lineThe above board was picked up the same time as mine and he is wrapped with it,its 901 and he is around 95 kgs and he was on the nose today on his first ride.
Correct mate, the blue one has been hanging around for a while now,its an outstanding board in the fresh.
Yep I'm going with the green one this time is looked amazing once again in the fresh.
The other thing I did different was light glass 6/4 which is standard for a UFO all my others have been 6/6 so the new one will be slightly heavier than my current which will add to now flow.
I'm heading through to The Goldie in the morning, with a stop over in the old Jet Star Lounge, and then depart to Tokyo again. Only average surf conditions this week... I missed a good week and 3 weeks ago, and this week looks like it will be pretty much smoking for about 5 mornings a row... But the water is now officially "cold" down here !! They say 14.5. Might still go down towards 13.5...
There's not much time at the airport. Collect and check bags, and then I need to get through customs, and they like you at the gate early... But my son Matteo is keen for another trip to the Goldie, so I expect to be in town in August or so.
Hey i dont want to offend anyone but why are most of the boards on here (LONGROOMBAR)and in shops going for bands and dips hey i like them but whats the difference one band more or les

I hear you mate but I hate longboards with the GT from nose to tail, the bands are for a traditional look,Flames are for hotrods, wild stuff is for the younger folk.
well, i saw the great man this morning. he is never riding it again.as far as he's concerned its gone, done dusted, over and out, kaput, forgotten about, a minor hiccup, never really existed, a bad memory, an experiment gone wrong, erased etc.
Jeepers. Just read this thread - I stay off line for a few days as I have had family over and been here there and everywhere and even had to fit some time in at the office. So I finally read this interesting sounding thread title (well I read the quiver one first) and I can not really believe what I was reading.
I am in shock.
We used to always have a saying re the ladies when we were younger - "try before you buy" - but I can not think how this maybe be used to your benefit when ordering a so called custom. Hope yr next board goes well and the changeover does not cost you too much Mac. My previous custom annoyed the hell out of me. After 5 surfs I had to sell it as it did not have enough volume in it for me. I was shattered as the thing went off like a box of plastic explosives - it was just a biiarch to paddle and needed decent waves for me to enjoy.
My thoughts are with you on this sad dark day in your life. Hope you are feeeling bettter though as it could be cold, miserable and raining like a good summer in the UK.
When I ordered the channel bottom Allan asked me about rails, all I said was that I wanted a bit of volume in the for stability. He did a great job and got the rails as low as possible with out sacrificing rail volume buy using a very flat deck. All hand shaped no machine other than a planer
