All good buddy, thought your handicap might have given me a chance to actually get a wave.

Hope you get it sorted.

Yes posture and stretching always helps. Dude get a sup wave board as there are some great boards now. It's great to alternate and helps the understanding of both surfers and sup surfers when you talk in the line up.

I know the feeling Lacy, Mobic is my best friend for surf trips, trying to put off neck surgery for as long as I can, riding lower volume boards doesn't help me it just lowers my wave count so i stick to boards around 35 litres and longboard when its small,Theres no exercises you can do if its discs pressing on a nerve unfortunately but like Mac said most of us older blokes have some injury that gives us grief surfing, just gotta grin and bear it and take drugs

great post ricardo, turmeric is a surfers friend.
it is a natural powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
keeps me surfing and playing golf.

that roller SP was talking about in another thread is brilliant
it has saved me thousands from going to a chiropractor.
keeps the back supple and flexing and stretched.

Foam roller is the best thing along with daily yoga...**** the gym and get stretching when you have the A.G.E virus

Also the foa. Roller should only be Used on your upper back otherwise you will end up wrecking your back.

Try K Yoga, its an app you can download.
There are free programs (as well as pay for), started with the 'basic strength' that takes 26 minutes.
Also a shorter specific back that my partner does.
Doing the first session was hard to get relaxed breathing, correct technique and had few wobbles but after 5 out of 7 days and can feel increased flexibility
