Swans by 1-39 (due to the weather) and Bulldogs to get on top in a close one.

BBQ is also ready for action here - just brought a whole rump and we will do it brazialian style - caked in rock salt on the spit over the hot coals.....ummmm tempted to do it tonight




Didn't know you could wax steak Ted will have to try it .

I am tipping storm by about 12 , and heart says hawks in the AFL , head says Swans by about 20

yes thats why my words have tempered I believe Robbie Page might have done the wrong thing once many moons ago and the infamous AI not too mention the other 100 or so!! I think off-field incidents add to the colour of the spectacle!

No game Friday night,so what does one watchno live boxing nothing,turned on fuel and the quick pro france is on,OMG they are catching waves which are breaking on the beach from take off wild.10 boards broken in two sessionsand its small
Kelly gets a 2.77 for a double barrel wave.

Watch this race - No. 8 is outstanding value at the minute.....that dog has real troubles off the start - always aims right and gets caught in the traffic....he is starting wide tonight - so not many to run into!

As for Slater how good is he? Some of those late drops and then he just rams his arm into the wave face to cut any speed that he did not have and then just gets fully slotted - as LL would say SIC!!!

The Dog paid $3.20 place....nice start to the w/e! Will roll that into the Swans tom (Scottys fav team) depending on the weather.

Storm / Bulldogs will be a smoking game - I think Canterbury and 22-14

Hawks look bloody good when they're on , if the MCG in september weather stays the Swans will come into it more .... Hawks by 20 points I dunno

Not happy with Andrew Johns getting the Mort.
Too soon and he's too young IMO.
Norm Provan won 10 GF and 4 as capt/coach.
Let's hope AJ doesn't get caught out again - not a good look for an 'immortal' - perhaps he should get the immoral award instead.
Don't get me wrong the bloke was a freak and probably the best ever but I would give it to him in 10 years, Mal in 5 years and Provan now.
I hope they don't start handing them out willy nilly now.

nothing better than $1 to win and $1 a place at the pub on the dishlickers to keep you entertained
my betting formula is normally take the highest odds on the inside 4 unless of course there is a runner with some part of the name bale
still broke but its nice when a long shot comes in

Yes Ted me and the Swans go way back. I am just getting comfortable now to watch my first full game of AFL since 06 I think.
I reckon the Storm at 13+ margin is good at $4.50 and I think I'll get on.
