Three - two get ridden regularly - the other is my old Fat Fish that sits in the shed waiting for my young bloke to take an interest...

6 at the moment - 2 in storage. 3 get used most days. The 4th is on route. Keen to add a couple more but just keeping the powder dry for now. Have one on order but am told it's a few months away - happy to wait.

5 of my own, 2 ridden weekly.
The kids each have two one glass and one foam.
One original board from my youth that one day will get hung, and two sups..
I have wanted to lay them out and get a shot, but honestly too lazy..

10...I think.
6' Mcneill rasta torus twin, 6'2" firewire nano, 6'3" Dvs wasp quad fish, 6'3" pacer quad fish, 6'3" McCoy nugget 6'6" MR flying fish,, 6'8" firewire addvance, 6'8" McCoy nugget, 7' AB 6 channel single, 7'6" vquad Woosley.
Need a longboard but coffers empty.
The Mcneill I just picked up today. The rest of them I ride regularly with the exception of the 6'8" McCoy and 7' AB being for larger waves so not much use.

3 boards for me.

A 9.8 Mark Rabbidge log type board for small days.

A 9.3 Cleatwater Whalebone

A 9.1 Cutloose shaped by Kevin Hardick. Used for one weekend bought for a buddy but he has bought his own now so I'm going to sell it.

7'6 bee sting my most fun and favourite board

6''rocket a new one that served me well from the first wave I surfed it in this last swell

7''5 single fin had not ridden it for a while but have taken it back out recently and really enjoyed it again.....my single fin phase is over though....I will not buy another one

6'4 single fin with channels, I don't surf this much anymore. had it out in some nice waves the other day and had fun on it

9'1 smile farking I still love this board. good wave stealer these days and that's it. if I want to ride a longboard for longboarding its not this one. great at the spit when its crowed and wedging....these days I think a HP longboard is stupid. unless your really good and going in comps oh it also has a big crease through it

9'3 whalebone I love this board so very much. a genuine allrounder but will surf how a longboard should be surfed imo...would get a 9''6 0r 9''1 next time

5''9 chrispy chip. the most fun in small or fat waves...skateboarding on water..a board I lend out and people come back smiling

I think mid length is anything from around 6'10 -8'. A 6'2 regardless of volume is still a short board imo, has to be a decent amount of rail line for it to be classed as a mid length plus they usually have a slightly fuller outline or its just a gun BUT thats just my take on it

a hp longboard should never be bigger than 9''1...end of story any bigger and it cant be hp....in my post up higher, hp longboards are a stupid idea. if you want more hp in a board go smaller. longboards are for longboarding

I don't think 3 inches makes much diff when your boards over 9'. Especially when your on the back foot & 1/2 the boards out of the water. Rocker makes a hell of a lot more diff for paddling & how much fins in the water when your on the nose...or trying to get there

& mid length can be relative to yourself or collective thought...a mid length for me is 6'4 these days. 5 years ago when boards were still 18 inches wide, I'd say 6'8 - 8'5

Fair enough for a personal opinion...but there are waves where a bit of length makes the difference between getting a wave or not. Waves like say Moffat's North of you guys. Its a big wally wave that can stand for ages without breaking or barely breaking. You won't get on with a short board, but a HP LB will rip it apart.

yep that example makes sense...I have surfed my smile board for the last few surfs for that reason.....but my 7 footers got onto them as well

1 x 10' Bing Feral Pig (on its way)
1 x 906 noserider
1 x 8' NPJ Sweet Pea
1 x 702 fish

I want either a glider in the high 11' range or a 10' noserider.

I also need a new shortboard (this is a priority - as mine is gone) and am tossing up between a NPJ Quartet or a quad fish/egg hybrid (McCallum quagg type board - but not a McCallum as it is impossible to acquire). Tried the Firewire Nano but didn't click - also considered the Rasta Taurous Twin but not too sure on its versatility. Will need to have some more thought on this...

What size NPJ quartet (friend has one for sale) and what size RTT (may have one for sale) are you thinking?
I also happen to have a pacer (Matt Keane pre-shape) quad fish that has an egg nose and chine rails and lastly a DVS quad wasp which could be available.
