Just got a new car that has one of those silly automatic door locking/unlocking buttons on the key that probably won't take too well to dips in the ocean tied in the pocket of my boardies....

What do you lot do with your not so water proof keys when you hit the water.......(not asking to give away the secret location under the right front wheel well).

I am aware of the little padlocked box thingy you can attach to your towbar and the waterproof pouches you can drape around your neck inside your wettie or vest....

Anything else???

A good key cutter can cut you a blank.
I just take mine into the water. Still works fine to my amazement!

This is what I do, the key can't start the car, it just gets me in the door and that Is all I need.

I keep it in my wetty box with a leg rope cord around it that fits snugly over my head. It's never looked like coming off, even after the biggest wipeout.

Been doing it this way since Jesus played full back for Nazareth.

Funny you mention tommy, we were talking about him at work yesterday. A bloke I work with played for newtown and had him as a coach, they got quite close because he used to drive tommy to church every Sunday, so he got to know a bit about him.

Turns out that tommy and his Missus enjoyed some rather unusual past times.

I got a plain key cut for my new car and it sets off the alarms and causes a he'll of a racket and sets off the immobilized as soon as it hits the lock...I did it twice and gave up. I am still hiding the proper key under the car but need to get me one of those surf locks.....thanks for the reminder

Not so much a magnetic key box, just a magnet out of an old computer hard drive, they're incredibly strong.

But I just leave it there for emergencies because I hate grouping around under the car.

I'd like to be groping my new doctor under there.

She's incredibly hot

On my very first visit to her, she told me that I've got to stop masturbating

I said "why"

She said, "because I'm trying to examine you"

So now just use a blank key in the wettie or leggie

Thanks all

Was thinking about getting a blank key cut to pop in boardies or leggie etc but need to check with the manufacturer about the Immobilizer/ alarm problem Ted mentioned.

I Just rinse the key out before putting into the lock........but then I don't usually surf spots that don't have a beach shower close by,.....

I thought Jesus played for Jerusalem????
