Mac, I had a look at the 12'6 SIC Bullet this arvo. I think you should get one. I'm thinking seriously about one myself. There is a 14 Bullet down there also. They are sold out of Bullets but they are there for viewing pleasure for a short time!

Doggie - who knows? Maybe loved up? Maybe taking a break? He is selling that McT 9'1 also.

Interesting... maybe... But that would be a huge effort of abstinence! I don't think he has it in him!

Could just be on a trip up or down the coast.

Keep an eye out in the WA papers... See if the name "Nathan" appears within the daily shark attack reports.

Yea I will, Im just going to do the roof and coat the walls with sealer.

Hope you know what you are doing as it will shorten your life if you breathe that sh1t in. That's one job I wouldn't DIY.

I intend on using proper overalls and I still have my respirator with charcoal canisters from when I was a spraypainter. I will check before I start pulling stuff off with a tradie mate thats done it heaps.

^^^^^Ask your tradie mate about battening out on top of existing roof and laying new roofing on top. save ya time and expense. You have to bag and seal that asbestos crap and take to special tip.

Funny, I was out trying to trap rats out there last night and I was thinking about a similar thing. Wouldnt it be too much weight even with battens? Its actually an old steel framed shed, the frame looks to be ok but Im no expert

Its the one on the right, the left one has had its roof done already.

There isn't much weight in timber battens and steel roof sheeting and it is spread evenly over entire roof anyway. Judging by the photo each roof sheet would be approx 2m long so should only require batten at the ridge, one at the end (near gutter) and one in the centre ( battens only need to be 1m centres). Would save you sh1tloads of $$$ and your health.
Is the roof members steel as well i.e. trusses ?

BTW what's wrong with the current roof ?
If it has holes and is leaking just use emerclad and fibreglass mesh.
If ya know a good glasser.
