+ 1 I really enjoyed that. Perhaps use a flat stainless ruler or level next time to show the vee through the end sections......I would love to have seen a side profile so I could see the overall shape and nose/tail rocker combo.

As for the 1 + 2 comment - nice ! Mac - you are now famous in other peoples vids - how do you feel?

We'll I thought it was a good vid grom man.....if one of us idiots made it. Very disappointed in the fact you let so many errors slide through to the keeper. Being a numbers man I imagined you would have done a million takes to do Bob proud, but no. Just a half arse drunken chrispy effort.

No that is wrong as I still have not learnt how to edit my ****.

That was a test review... No notes.
I'll do 4-6 bullet point notes on the important stuff, plus an intro zoomed out look at the template. Plus rocker view.

I think key is to keep it to about 2:45 to 3:30 max (about 3 minutes).
In "1 shoot", no editing for this surf bum!
Upload in HD too... That was only SD... Standard Def.

Thanks Simondo, keep 'em coming!
Great for hacks like me to learn about plan shapes, wide points, rocker profiles, rails, fins, good stuff!

Great work - interesting to see the technical aspects of the design of the board. Particularly having the Vee so far forward, I like the modern rails & tail lift.

Great looking board would be perfect for the points - did you consider doing it as a thruster?

If anyone else is able to do this on an interesting / unusual board do it.

Dazzler, I think 8 foot is about the limit for a 3 fin Thruster. At 9 ft, I think Box Single Fin plus side biters is the go.

I like the drive from the bigger single fin. Side fins just enhance the turns, without too much drag when Trimming, etc.

I think 3 fins are designed to be virtually always turning.

Try my set up grom man then give me your opinion. You will not lose drive but you will get way more loose in the tail, all controlled. The 2+1 is dying
Now people are trying New fin set ups the open mined folk are having there minds changed to something that is not so outdated.

Hey Chrispy,

What's the spacing between your fins? Centre of the sidebites to centre of the middle, please?

My thoughts are if your going to ride a thruster, or 3 fins similar size the spacing needs to be closer to a thruster spacing, whereas a 2+1 will behave more like a single as the middle gets bigger and sides smaller the middle fin can be closer to the sides.

Any one else have any thoughts? I could be completely wrong... Or it might just be what I like, interested in others thoughts.
