It's hotting up at Bells. Everyone has arrived! Ritchie Collins seems to be back this year. (spelling). Parko & Egan have been sighted. Some Avalon NSW crew. Bobby Martinez. etc... nice 50 year T-Shirts this year too. I think I'll get one this year. Landmark year.

I think Fanning won at the 40 year Bells, and even Fanning said he didn't appreciate what he's done at the time.... the names on that trophy!

Hells Bells !

Local boys Adam Robertson & Nic Muscroft fought it out in the Trials Final this morning. Adam gained the upper hand, at smallish Mid-High Tide Rincon (Bells).

So Adam goes through to the main event!

Easter Saturday forecast - 6 foot & light offshore. Could be some of the best surf of the year.... It would be great to see the Women at Bells & the men at Winki, running together. I don't think they can do that though.

Fingers crossed it is big & clean !

Kelly will win it I reckon Mac....he surfs the place incredibly well...Robbo also has an excellent chance with his local knowledge...if it goes to Winki he will be a massive shot

I think Robbo has a better chance at Bells actually. Bells has more peluciarlarities to it. But at Winki, there are too many hot guys who can bust big air, and land them.

I still think Kelly got stiffed by the judges the other year, when Owen Wright got the nod, just. Owen kind of busted a few big moves, which obviously impressed. But Kelly played and toyed with The Bells Bowl with more style, also finding tube time (I was there, live).

I think Nat Young calls it "Pin Ball Surfing"... the way some people surf. Just too busy.... But Kelly & Joel and other do really smooth it out.... that's my preference.

I would love to see a Kelly v Joel Final !! Clean, overhead, Bells Bowl, with final scores 19.0 v's 18.5, and it wouldn't really matter who won !! That's my day dream !!

Agreed...but Robbo has to be one of the best surfers at Winki that I have seen...and if it hits 6+ I don't think you will see to many airs....

Ok so you guy's watched it today,so who was on today?

I only managed to watch parts of some heats,waves looked good

Adam Melling looked sharp and so did Porko...Taj seemed to be catching rails on everything once it hit the inside....Fanning looked good as well...can't believe they put the girls out this morning the surf was sick....

TV says 10:30 at Winki...should be sick!!

Taj is out...owen wright chanelled his inner Occy and smashed it....looks like the guys on longer boards are going a bit better

Speed burns at Winki !! A few of the boys are struggling to finish all of their moves after developing so much speed....

It's a difficult little wave though. To be honest, I rarely pull any moves out there. It's just race race race down the line, sit in the pocket, get clipped, get back into the pocket, race race race....

Can't remember the guys name but the kid from the gold coast who was after Taj and a couple screamers of waves.
