Thanks for all the nice words fellas.....its been a bloody mission to say the least....so many stupid errors along the way - someone said that 100 things can go wrong glassing and normally a couple do...its all part of the learning process...well I must have found about 10 on the first one and 5 on the second so definitely moving in the right direction - I hope

....I never got to surf the green machine today - it was chunky and cross shore with morning sickness at the local so I had to go a few km down the road to a more sheltered spot and that gave me an opportunity to read the last rites to my sweet potato as I finally finished its replacement 30 mins ago ! So now I have 2 new boards at the same time - and thats a first - so thought I would christen them both tom morning. 60 mins on each to see how they compare.
Shots will be coming I promise. Had too much work to do today sadly. They will probably have wax and fins on them but them's the breaks as I want to be hitting the water 5 mins before first light tom.
CMC once said that there is a lot more work that goes into a board than you probably realise so don't ever complain about the price....its safe to say that I am now in 100% total agreement with him

I know the pros can do things a 1,000 times quicker than me but they have learnt those skills over many many years so are entitled to be paid for them !! I know now that I shall never ever question the price of a board ever again CMC - but I still think that boards produced where labour cost are substantially lower should have their prices reflect that

Edit: I should have mentioned that its addictive so do not attempt unless you have the time

Already started the new project !
