Question?
Aren't reds limited to 5 per week for each person? so if your post is red take it as people disagree strongly, if it's green means nothing you could sit there and tap them all day if you wanted..
Thumb the post not the person really, you think people are thumbing you, i think quite the opposite, people think your posts are either ****, wrong or personal un called for and out of line, I don't know you so how could I thumb the person...
And now it just looks like you doing backflips quicker then a gymnast on the gas...

Don't take this as a personal attack Husq but your argument has some huge holes and I guess that is why it looked personal.
Anyway I actually thought about the mad professsors idea last night, hope you dont mind the title Lacey. i was suffering from a bit of insomnia but i came to the conclusion that this is a GREAT idea and the basis could be used for any paddling type sports be it flat water ocean or whatever, wouldn't it just mean a change is the paddling position and computer program that controls movement, you could have a rowing machine like for surfski, etc and you could even have a prone attachment or OC, beats lifting weights, running or riding and exercise bike and if it works I have never seen anything that can get you paddling surf fit at home. I'm sure there was a prone paddling machine in the 90's, was pretty simple a sliding table and some resistance bands with pulleys.
be great standing in the gym with the virtual reality goggles on doing a simulated DW whilst watching the girls pump iron
And sure it would cost massive $$$$ to develop a machine but so would a wave pool...
There's another idea a water tank / wave pool that could adjust current and swell you could also have it to adjust winds etc to SIMULATE different ocean conditions.. Wanna share the patent Lacey .

. I'll call Kelly you call Webber see if we can piggyback on either of there's

na we'll try and get on that Dragons Den tv show.
