I know theres heaps more volume in a sup so i was thinking something around the 10' mark or is that pushing it a bit??
2014 Fanatic Pro Wave Semi Gun Carbon Inegra - 9' 10", 28.5 inches could i get away with something like this on flat and waves

Starboard Element. I surf it in all kinds of surf and paddle on flat water when there's no surf. I've got the carbon which is light and makes for easy turning

9'8 x 30 @ 146litres. Very stable and very quick.

I have a 10'6 surftech Laird that surfs really good and paddles flat water very good due to the flatter rocker. 29 3/4 wide.

How about the 9' Laird surfer volume wise for 80kg theres a fellow seabreezer selling one atm, looks good for waves just not sure about flat.going to get in touch with him see what he thinks about it too,so many boards out there, starboard have heaps of different models, just don't want to end up with a tanker but also don't want to be struggling to stay afloat going for a cruise up the creek, prob 2 sups the go but have too many boards already, male shorties, kite boards etc, been checking out all the boards you guys have recommended thanks a lot

Go for Volume, probably 140 litres plus. Otherwise it will be tippy in the chop and you will get very frustrated
