99% sure that's a pic of TJ somewhere in the Eastern Gorge. With my foils I could never have my rear foot that far back, maybe it's a Lift.

Yep, with V2 80cm and 12.5 FTL

Why keep trying to hide numbers. we all have seen the 8,0 by 21" in the pictures. For some of us it will be good to finally know the range, to check if there is a volumen length combination that suits our preference. There is plenty of other options now, and I may not wait for these Kalamas to arrive in Europe.
And the is coming from a 5,0 E3 owner. (previously on a 6,0 E2).
Colours are not great, I hope we can have something you can easily see in open opean. Blue and white should not be preferred colours in downwind boards.
Just saying.

All dimensions, pics etc will be released finally once Dave receives his shipment real soon. Japan got his then Hawaii then australia. It's up to DK when he wishes to publicly release full specs & descriptions etc on each board.

I personally like the colour and if you're worried about been seen out in the open ocean wear a hi visibility t-shirt like I do. Kmart $8 from memory. No one wants to be run over by a boat! Colour is always going to be personal preference and not going to suit everyone's taste no doubt! Atleast light blue not bad in the sun either. I dunno how long a black board would last. Even red seems to soak up heat and can be problematic.

Then there's the environmental disaster we call the car shuttle. I'd bet your finishing a 14Km downwinder 30%+ faster than a ski, so then it's two or more car shuttles in a day to really have a good time? One is plenty of exercise on a ski or SUP.

Think I'm gonna go the wing route, this looks to have too many down sides

1300 - PNL. it was day one and just getting back into the swing of it. Used 1150 every other day.

The boards looking great and all but I agree with others about getting the word out earlier.
I was hoping to get a cuda but with all the uncertainty I went with an Aviator Elite.

Not that I think it would matter anyhow as those will probably be sold out before they hit the ground
as it was the case in the past. This is also part of my decision not to wait for it.

volume to weight- a lot depends on your overall foil ability, what discipline your mainly planning to use it on etc. but majority will be the 710 and 8'. Given you're using it for SUP and you currently ride a E3 and can downwind in the ocean I suggest up to 65kg the 7'8, 65-80kg 710, the 80-95 the 8'. Obviously if you know your ability and what your volumes are for other boards then you can ride smaller than these guidelines. If you're using it prone then the bigger = easier. Iv used the 8' downwind, sup surf, prone, flat water pop up. On flat water I can stand on one leg and paddle it around. Stability is fine but I'm a sup Foiler. Then a fit chick who would have been maybe 65kg but never SUPed before got on it and struggled at first then could paddle fine. So realistically there's no straight answer but if you know your weight, ability, discipline etc it might give you some insight to what one is for you. If your still unsure give me a call.

I do own some gofoil, but that's a different covensation.
i use Armstrong like 1,5 to 2 inches further forward than the v1.5 gofoil. Which is almost what it's available in the boxes in some pictures. But according to the v2 gofoil video these new mast goes 1,5 further back. So if mr Tomo uses the new mast the box may not be long enough.
