Just to correct myself - the wing/fuse holes need no drilling, you can mount HA/V2 straight on the old A-minus fuse, with the barrel nut easily tightening from the upper side.
Haven't looked at it - but probably not hard to drill V1 wings countersunk hole to keep everything standard.

I've had half a dozen prone sessions on the HA, trying out both my stabs (232 and KDM13) and TTF shims (0 & +1) (72M and TC60)

Bit of lesson in humility, as the 1125 responds so directly to front/rear weight shifts. With my HS wings, when I stuff up popping up with my feet too far back, I'd reposition my front foot by lifting and planting it fwd. With HA any foot off the wax is breach or nosedive - now it's a weird shuffle to keep weight on the deck. Might also be my stumpy 72cm mast isn't helping?

So after some work on getting a clean pop-up and calming any movement, the reward is phenomenal glide. Last weekend was the first time after my last wave in from Makaha, I've walked back east to get to the start of the path and the swell was only just waist high. Never glided so high on the mast, looking around to work out if I was still on a wave. I'm not a pump demon, but the HA goes so quick on the 10 or so pumps I can link together that I'm going twice the distance. But the last pump for me is a straight flop-down, board-smacking stall. Same outcome trying to jump up and get a quick take-off pump when you're just behind the peak. Swapped with a much better foiler then me for a few waves - he was pumping his Signature 210 around like an efoil, but his feedback was the KDM13 tail was too small to get drive, and he stalled the HA1125 out for his first long paddle back of the morning. But he was frothing at the speed and glide!

Really enjoying the HA1125 in small surf, and still trying to work out if there's a better/bigger tail/shim combo to get it on rail at speed. I'm blowing heaps of top turns the HS1050 would tip into without thinking. Interested to hear if anyone's been surfing the full HA and V200 combo?

Yep Ive been on the 1125/v200 tail with 60 fuse 72 mast.Amazing glide ,speed and pump. It will collapse if you are going too slow and try to pump it hard ,or in a rip going with the current. Still getting used to it and I agree with your comments regarding it being sensitive in pitch and foot placement. I have been able to turn it with the mast position back further but not like the other foils. Took it out wake foiling and it was almost too fast, as the speed others foils were Comfortable at it was almost stalling. It does pump fast and cover lots of ground quickly which is great, but I have to admit it's taking me a little while to get used to it.I can definitely see the potential in it , I just need to get used to the HA feel.

Great to hear Kobo - what sort of difference have do think the v200 tail makes, other than being able to play some face-melting air guitar?

Dunno , I swapped back to the 212 tail on the 1125 and can't say I noticed any difference but it was a short sesh in crappy conditions, I'll probs know more when I pair it with the 1250 which I'm very familiar with.

Using the 1125 with 72 mast 50 fuse v200 tail +1. Im 80kg and I've found the perfect combo for me with the 1125 finally. The other big Ahh moment was sliding the mast to the back of the tracks which improved the control enormously and didn't effect the pump which surprised me. Having some amazing pumping speeds and endless glides on nothing with nice control and good turns finally. All I can say is persevere until you find the setup that works because the rewards on this wing are amazing and like nothing else I've experienced.

I'm still switching stuff to loosen the 1125 up. Amazing how just 2 stabs, 2 shims and box positions gives a million permutations to consider. I've rebuilt a delta stab off my original 2018 alibaba foil to even give that a run soon. I'll post a photo as its a terrible conversion to the Armstrong fuse mount, but who wants to waste carbon fibre??

Im still A-minus but got the conversion kit to drill the bottom barrel nut onto my v1 wings for extra clamping. Super easy with a trick hollow M6 screw that is a perfect drill guide. Armie is an engineering genius! Any other OEM would have given you a bit of sticky tape and a mallet.

No I'm on old fuses with no problem, I drilled a 3.5 mm through the center of a countersunk m6 screw and used it to drill a pilot holes in my other 4 wings and convert them to take the barrel nut. Don't need an extra screw in the mast as it's never got loose or been a problem.

Here's the Alibaba leftover. It's a monster size, so the result was amazing pump, not that I'm that good in the first place. On the downside it was like riding a 12' mal! Surprisingly didn't split in half - the mount involved grinding off half the centre then filling with epoxy and glass, covering with tape, then squeeze the shim down into the setting resin to get some Angle of attack result. Drill pilot holes then run an M6 tap into the hard resin. Strangely good outcome other than turning, which is a problem for prone foiling. But the pump Is so much better on the 1125 - way less sensitive to over pushing. Experiment done, I'm going to get a V200!

Chopped my 1250 and loved it, not touching the 1125 don't want to risk losing any pump or glide. If I want to turn in the pocket I'll ride the 1250/1050

I've got a chopped 1250 and a non chopped now. Had a prone on the non chopped today. I swear I was going a lot faster and the glide was significantly better. But in serious stuff (and winging in swell) it seems the chopped does do what it doesn't say on the packet lol.

Don't chop your 1125.for at least a few weeks. Additional options are likely.

Dinged it today it was awesome to ride tiny chop downwind. I would guess it would be the best DW Armie foil.

Can't wait till summer to get a chance to ride DW on it. Pretty sure it will be very good.Hoping to do some short prone DW on it as it pumps easy and goes fast. Not sure how it would go SUP DW might be hard to get started with a paddle as it's stall speed is higher than 1850/1250.

Yes Kobo but if you had the push & speed on take off do you think the 1125 would be fine/good - would it pump better then the 1250 & 1550 (that I have) would it be harder to pump or similar / different as I want to foil my sup on super small swell etc?:-)

Yes thanks sounds good as I will only want to use it on small waves & I can handle the turning no worries just have to find a second hand one (I missed out a while back as I was not sure at that time:-)

The 1125 is very efficient and creates good lift once it gets going, but it would stall on smaller waves and it's not as surfy as the other 2.
