fix. Various reasons mainly delam but heaps of breakages. I don't ride them so only taking his word on it and from the one he has shown me

I have also broken 8 normal surf boards in 6 months or 1 North board in one year and no damage this year on my Naish golbal at all so what stones am i throwing. If you read my comments like you should then i'm only saying what a good mate of mine has said who i trust about the boards. Have you gone and checked out my comments with your loacal board repairer or are you just going of what your sponoed mates are saying. Sure you might be upset since you just paid for one of the boards and no one like to think they brought some thing that is not up to scratch. You two guys sound like a coulpe of Kooks who strugle with your kiting i have seen you kite and if you are going to talk it up at least be able to do it.

Naish SUPS are leading the way IMO i'm sure you will dissagree and say GSI are the best but then agian you would wouldn't you..

Everytime I click on it, I think hopefully there might be something interesting for evereyone to read, instead its just a total bitchfest, come on girls start your own thread on who has the smallest cock or something.

Jacko, what does TS mean? As to the rest of your comments, I normally try not to get involved in "discussions" with people of limited intelligence so I wont bother replying.

Getting back to the topic; the way I see it at the moment if you want to ride a surfboard style board kiting you have the following options:
-A standard PU surfboard; these work great however they tend to fall apart very quickly especially if riding with straps, you can get a kite specific reinforced one but they tend to be heavy.
-A tufflite/epoxy style surfboard; again these work well are very light and much stronger than PU boards but do tend to be a bit stiff and skip around a bit.
-A production type epoxy/laminate construction surf/kiteboard; these are stronger but many guys find them very stiff.

With these options I think its great to see what Firewire are trying to do, ie. bring out a board that is strong yet fairly light with a good amount of flex. Its also good to see an inovative surfboard company doing this, whether they succed or not its a step in the right direction that can only benefit the sport.

The main shortcoming with kite surfboards is that they snap fairly easy if you really charge the waves hard. ^^
I solved this problem years ago (when I polesurfed) with the use of rail-stringers glued into the bottoms of my custom wavesailing boards.
Rail-stringers are a cheap engineered solution that act as edge beams creating increased tensile strength.

im loving how every post thats not absolutely kissing felix's ring hole / the company he hit up for boards gets absolutely owned even when they have something genuine to say, although its not offering the same opinion as every one that is infact licking the ring

While this is being disscussed on an internet forum i would have to say, no, it wont.

p.s Why would we need to start a thread to discuss that? everyone knows it's me, poor little fella is barely bigger than my pinky toe.

I've only ridden the regular firewires for kiting & by the sounds of it, the shapes are not going to be that different to the flexifire or taj model...I'm hoping they have demo board available from the Currumbin factory when I'm back on the Goldy at Christmas, but some how I doubt it.
