As soon as someone tells you that man-made climate change is 'undeniably' occurring, then you should question what they have to say. You know they probably are not capable of intelligent and objective debate. When they say but 'the science' proves it, then you know they are a poor scientist. Maybe it is man-made, but it is not '100% undeniable' at this point. I'm not saying that there isn't enough risk that we shouldn't be doing anything about it, but you can't say it's '100% undeniable'.
A good friend of mine recently won an internationally recognised award for his research on the impact of coastal wetlands on climate change. (Coastal wetlands store more CO2 per unit area than any other natural ecosystem). When I went to see him give a talk on the research, he was using phrases such as "to the best of our current knowledge", "as far as we can tell", "the data strongly suggests". Comments like that are the hallmark of someone who genuinely understands scientific investigation and who's opinion I respect and with whom I can have an intelligent discussion.
Re: This is interesting observation because may confirm my suggestion that flooding vast areas of our waste dry deserted land with
saline ocean water may be beneficial. Obviously that is beyond our short sighted vision of geo engineering at this moment, but
few hundred years of research of you fellow wetland scientist may one day brings the fruits.
We could convert one day Australia from driest contented into premia like tropical forest. In few hundred years from now we could dredge channels deep into continent, lie pipes and flood land with ocean water! Create new gigantic lakes ,like sea inside hottest outback's.
PS. I really been reluctant to send any post because it instantly attract critics base not on any merits but personal heatred deeply rooted here on SB. So better ,please nobody comment on my post, unless counterarguments can be presented ,not just another abuse.
So lets assume my post a small record that don't need another FN like exchange.
