I've just tried to correct an earlier mistake of mine here,

But I can only type inside the quote box. I wanted to type my correction outside the quote box, to make it clear it's a correction, now it looks part of incorrect post, and minimises so that you can't see the full correction.
I have no trouble posting outside the quote box on other people's posts, but still locked out of plain text mode.
I'm outside the box now, and plain text is working, so thanks Laurie, clearing cache worked.

I can't find the daily synoptic chart. I can find the four day one. When I look at the forecast there is a button for synoptic but only the 4 day one opens. Anyone know where the current day one is?

Yes, sorry it went missing, butis on it's way back .. meanwhile, tap "More Weather..." .. then "Synptopic Charts"
Nope still not working. Android, chrome. Cant find this map www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/synoptic_col.shtml
Sorted now, added link to my chrome bookmarks.
You missed the "on it's way back" text. 
It's now back - a tap on the forecast will now reveal the synoptic.

Nope; is all working again.
Don't know if it's been mentioned but clicking on the green forum label in the Active Topics list gives you the first topic in the list. Which is not even remotely useful. It should just open the forum.

The only forecast I can find is Perth Marine Forcast and it aint in there?

Well you fixed that one mate, thanks very much but here is another twister for you. I go to the site, do not log in straight away, go to eg. sailing and read a thread and decide to comment and log in. That then takes me to page 1 of the thread.

Yeah .. easy .. just "tap" or "click" on the 7 Day Wind & Wave forecast. This will show the synoptic forecasts for the week.
Then .. tap on that the synoptic and it will show the above MSLP graph.

This will be addressed a new new update; Reply will also take you directly to the Login, rather than a message box...
When you go to the weather the green arrow at the top of the page appears distorted for a second or so. Makes me go dizzy, I know it's coming, I have to look away for that second to let it settle. Maybe it's my Mac taking a while to decipher the pixel mapping?
Using IExplorer, selecting "Surfcams & Buoys" gives latest picture first time round. Subsequent visiting (hours later) uses the same original image even after clicking refresh button.
If I then use a different browser Chrome or Edge will give latest picture (minutes old) but again subsequent visits use the first image for that browser even after refreshing the page.
Next day the sequence is reset.
Is there a setting in Windows 10 causing this, not sure if it's Windows doing this or the Seabreeze website. Used to update ok on old system.
Well, after all the complaints, reluctance to accept change and desire for the past to be the future (and also probably now that I am used to it) - gotta say Laurie, the new layout, links and pages are awesome.

It seems that I'm not the only one, many times when I reply to a thread, w/o quoting anybody, my post comes out as a quote, which of course means that the whole thing doesn't show w/o having to click on the "expand quote" when it never was a quote.
And if I add a news source to my post, it can come out as a multiple quote, which is even worse. I'm finding that I have to shorten my post sometimes to just the basic info, just to get it to post w/o having all those quote windows.
There is a bug in there somewhere.

If you're in the active topics view in chrome/win10, click to open a thread within general discussion (for example) in a new tab, then click to open general discussion itselt within new tab, instead of opening general discussion it will open the previous thread you clicked on a 2nd time.

My new iPhone 7 ain't liking seabreeze. It keeps reloading every 10-20 sec then after about 5 goes, it crashes.
Anything simple I'm missing?
I think I just found a bug. I tried to 'edit' a post to fix a grammatical error, and it won't let me edit, giving me a message that I'm not allowed to 'delete' a topic that has replies. My post was the first post in a new topic (The Myth Of Double Chocolate).
Also Laurie why is a first post alternate account to a long term member allowed access to heavy weather? Are you checking access via IP rather than account? I'm talking legins.
I don't like it laurie its a bit of a **** go mate all these pastel ****y SUP colors and no red thumbs...you gone soft soft like a city SUPer sold out
