Dude, that article is from a year ago.

And I seem to recall there was a bit of a hoo-hah about all sorts of people arriving from overseas and doing quarantine in one state and then having to re-do the same quarantine in another, because the states were all having dick-waving competitions about who had the harshest borders.

Weren't a bunch of Olympians supposed to do 14 days in NSW and then another 14 days in their home states ?, but the rules were realized to be dumb and then changed, so you could only quarantine once if you complied with certain processes ?

Pretty sure Twiggy wasn't unique in not double-quarantining around that time. The article says he did 14 days in NSW, no contact with anyone then his quarantine was done. I remember the FMG CEO flew to Sydney to give a 2 hour press conference about her retiring from the CEO position, then had to do 14 days quarantine back in WA, just for a 2 hour press conference in NSW. Pretty sure if there was one rule for the rich and powerful in WA then she would have worked out how to use it as well.


I'd be more concerned at the reports that there will be COVID marshals patrolling the public parks of Perth on skyworks night, checking everyone has a vax certificate.
