I had a quick spin on a 94 Stone on a flat but windy day. Completely agree with the ease of use comments, very smooth and immediately feels comfortable. For a DTL board I I was expecting it to be a bit draggy and slowish, but definitely not. Loved the wide strap positions too, great for us taller sailors. They are a good thing

The Gorilla, Blue, and Red SeverneRDM masts are identical, except for the 1 layer (Blue) or 2 layers (Gorilla) of glass for strength. Makes you wonder why the Red is more expensive than the Gorilla as it requires less material and labour. Guess it's a higher quality prepreg carbon.

Interesting.. Does the glass just improve impact resistance? Or increase the loading that the mast can survive?

Spending some time perfecting your rig setup is a good investment. Newer wavesails need very little downhaul/outhaul compared to old school sails and the easiest way to kill low end or make them handle like crap is to be heavy handed with these settings

Hi Teagan, here it is, at least some of it
Part 1
libraries.tas.gov.au/Digital/AB869-1-2371/AB869-1-2371

Part 2
libraries.tas.gov.au/Record/Archives/AB869-1-2381

Part 2 hasnt been digitised, might be worth getting in touch with the library and seeing what they can

amazing trip, some serious ocean conditions and weather!

Not an impact vest but I often use one of these in the waves.
Good fit, can swim easily and a handy little pocket for sandwiches. It also helps with warmth during winter

i've had a good run with Duotone Silver
I like the bend curve in the wave size, they are durable and reasonably stiff without being too heavy
Only negative is the outhaul cleat feels flimsy, although not had an issue
