Weather Situation for Tasmania
A high pressure ridge extends over Tasmania from a high centred to the south of the Bight. A cold front will approach the state on Thursday, and cross Tasmania during early Friday, followed by another ridge extending over Bass Strait from a high centred well to the west. During Saturday the ridge is forecast to move broadly over the state as the high centre approaches the west coast.
