Weather Situation for Tasmania
A high pressure ridge is developing south of the state this morning before extending throughout during the afternoon. A trough is forecast to linger by the east coast on Wednesday morning as the ridge remains over the rest of the state. A cold front approaches during Thursday, forecast to cross Tasmania during Friday, followed by another ridge of high pressure to extend over Bass Strait later.
